Report design using a layout design concept reflecting the sea surrounding the South West, refreshing brand colour tones and referencing Isambard Brunel in graphics with beautiful regional photography to produce the Annual Review.

An annual review, showing the highlight activities of Brunel's year and a formal financial summary produced for the auditors and investors.

The Review is a succinct 12 page digital report with high visual impact, designing each page according to the photographs and ideas that were supplied.

Making those work visually, like a magazine really, and brand-aligned. The team had some clear ideas about how some pages would be structured; whether it would be an infographic or a photography-based article and I have worked with those.

The structured layout and wave shape element help to calve up the space and frame the photography and information graphics. Making the graphics more visual helps to soften their presence in the report
The highlights of the years of Brunel’s history are connected by a train track (a nod to Isambard Brunel) which travels around year circles representing the company’s path through time.
Beautiful regional photography helps to enhance copy-heavy parts of the report. The layout then gives the copy room to breathe.
